An offer they [might] refuse

We are on pins and needles again.  We have now made our offer on the new Farmlet!  We hope they accept it, but they could counter-offer or even refuse.

So, now we wait!

“…The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part…”

~Tom Petty~

I know Tom was on another wavelength when he wrote these words, but they seem apropos to the way we are feeling right now.  ;)

  1. And the more you want it, the longer the wait! Will be lifting you up in prayer.

    Nancy

  2. Sending you my best wishes for the offer to be accepted.

  3. Oh Lynda, fate awaits you! So very exciting. Have good feelings…

    • Oh Annie, I just hope it isn’t Fates fickle finger waiting for me! LOL! ;)

Seriously, thank you for your well wishes!

  4. Tick… tock…. tick… tock…. tick…

  5. ‘Waiting’ is the hardest word to endure.

Best to try and go about one’s normal daily routine and put it out of your mind by assuming a negative outcome, (and then being pleasantly surprised when it all turns out positive and successful into the future).

I don’t envy you the wait.

    • I can take the word. It is the time involved in anticipation that is the killer. But you are correct. We must carry on no matter the outcome! Thanks, Victoria!

  6. Fingers xxxxxxxxxx`d!

  7. The suspense is killing me!

    • Me too! But however it works out, it is how it is supposed to be. There are reasons for every outcome, even when the answer is, “NO.” ;)

  8. I’m patiently waiting with you! :)

  9. It’s going to work Lynda, I pray for it!

  10. They can’t refuse Lynda, I am having trouble walking with my toes crossed!.. c

  11. If you don’t get this one that just means that there is a better one waiting for you! :)

    • That is an AWESOME way to look at it, dou dou! (although we haven’t seen a thing that we’ve liked so well…)
I know you are right. ;)
