Recently transplanted from California to North Alabama I find myself in awe of my new surroundings. Gone are the traffic, the smog, and the burning of the mountains and hills of So.Cal. I have a giant learning curve to adjust to, and find myself not minding it much at all. This is the beginning of my new life… the one I have wanted for so long.

What a huge blessing to be able to start a new life away from all of the busy city hubub!
My husband says that often! We are grateful to be here in all this quiet beauty. ~ L
I am looking forward to hearing about your new life. This is an exciting adventure. A gigantic step. Bravo. Virginia
Thank you, Virginia!
Hi. I’ve nominated your blog for an award—of choice yet! Please swing by when you can to grab…Have an awesome, blogging day! http://charronschatter.com/2013/01/28/lucky-number-7/
Charron, it took me a couple of minutes to track down that Gargie Award! LOL! I found him and his button building code here:

Gargie Code:
Thank you for thinking of me, Charron!
Oh POOH, the code will have to be picked up at the site I guess, because it sure didn’t come out here in my comment.
oh gosh, Lynda, I am sorry. I always make a meme of all my awards, and forget to include a separate one for the nomineez. My total bad…
Oh dear, I wasn’t complaining. I just thought he was off the wall cute and had to find out where he originated. It is hard to find the origins of most of the online awards these days!
Seriously, I wasn’t complaining.
Lynda,
On you other website, I just saw the blog “It started with Dirty Dishes.”
I could not find a place to write a comment.
It all sounds so familiar! One day, I will write the story “The Day it Rained Lima Beans.”
I’m sorry, Mary. I have had to limit my comments to about 30 days because of all the horrible spamming!
Apparently, there are more of us out there than we know. I look forward to your sharing your story.
Hmm… another good reason to not like lima beans!
